The Better Classrooms Together series was crafted for young learners taking their first steps into a dynamic English environment. We believe that it is neither respectful to children nor optimal for growth to demand a 100% English learning environment. Something around 95% seems ideal. Such an environment has a steep learning curve, and the first year will be the most challenging. With persistence, in a comfortable environment with well-crafted materials, the snowball begins to grow as it slides happily downhill, and highly fluent, confident English speakers will emerge.

Each of the main pages has a central verb and four high-frequency terms with their meanings clearly shown. Using TPR techniques, teachers can easily demonstrate the verbs and even before having mastered the alphabet, students will love the playful challenge of yelling “Yes!” and “No!!”
Included in the workbook are five bingo review boards with familiar images from the high-frequency terms ready to be cut and pasted onto unique boards.
